Pigeons and Packrats at Home

Our team handles pigeon screening along solar panels, ledges, and rooflines, as well as packrat trapping and exterior structural sealing.

Whiptail technician fitting mesh screening around rooftop solar panels

Our scope for valley properties

Whiptail provides targeted outdoor wildlife services focused on two specific animals in the valley. We offer pigeon screening around solar panels, ledges, and rooflines, along with packrat trapping and physical exclusion. Our licensed technicians start with a property inspection to spot entry points before setting traps, installing physical exclusion, and returning for follow-up checks.

Our wildlife work does not include snakes, bats, coyotes, rabbits, or protected species. If a protected species is present on your property, we refer you to the Nevada Department of Wildlife for proper assistance.

Questions about wildlife service

Which animals do you handle?

Our wildlife scope is strictly limited to pigeons and packrats. We install solar panel mesh, secure rooflines, trap packrats outside, and seal entry points on valley homes.

What happens with unhandled animals?

We do not handle snakes, bats, coyotes, rabbits or protected species. Protected species are referred to the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Our office can explain which local resources take unhandled wildlife.

Are wildlife services on a regular plan?

No. Wildlife jobs are single-project services rather than recurring quarterly treatments. Your technician inspects the exterior, outlines the required trapping or screening steps, and quotes the work after the site assessment.

How does pricing work after inspection?

Pricing varies by pest, property size, and structural layout. Your technician inspects roof areas or yard activity first, then provides a clear price that you see and approve before work starts.

We needed a formal Wood Destroying Insect report to sell our house. Marco came out and inspected the slab and garage thoroughly. He sent the written report to our agent the next business day.

We heard scratching in the attic. Luis found where roof rats were getting in, sealed the entry points with steel mesh, and set traps. He came back to check the traps just like he promised.

We use the quarterly plan for ants and spiders. When we saw a few ants return near the kitchen in summer, they came back out and treated the area again at no charge.

Kim gave us a written checklist to prepare our bedrooms for bed bug treatment. She treated the furniture and baseboards, then returned about two weeks later to check for activity.
