Why a thorough inspection comes first

Visible insects rarely reveal where a nest sits, how pests enter, or the exact species involved. Our technician inspects interior and exterior spaces to find physical evidence, entry routes, nesting areas, moisture sources, and sanitation factors that support pest activity. This identifies how severe the issue is before applying product.

After examining your home, the technician explains the findings and presents a treatment plan. You see and approve the exact price before any work begins. General pest estimates are free.

Our treatment methods

Treatment methods depend on our inspection findings. We target active areas directly, while explaining specific tasks that remain customer responsibilities.

  • Exterior perimeter treatment

We apply products around foundation edges, doors, windows, and weep screens where pests enter valley homes.

  • Interior crack treatment

We apply targeted treatments inside crack-and-crevice areas only where active pest evidence is discovered.

  • Ant and cockroach baits

We place specialized baits in strategic locations to reach colonies that remain hidden behind structural walls.

  • Monitors and follow-up

We place sticky monitors to track pest movement and evaluate treatment effectiveness over subsequent visits.

  • Sealing and exclusion

We install door sweeps and weep screen guards, and seal gaps around plumbing and wiring penetrations.

  • Customer responsibilities

Homeowners support treatment by repairing water leaks, storing food in sealed containers, and trimming yard plants.

Desert weather and local pest conditions

Dry desert heat drives ants and cockroaches indoors searching for moisture. Scorpions seek shade in block walls, gravel, and weep screens. Turkestan cockroaches hide inside irrigation boxes, meter boxes, and wall cracks, while crickets gather around exterior lights during summer months. Mosquitoes breed in small pools of standing water.

Understanding local desert conditions helps target key harborage areas. Fixing plumbing leaks, keeping landscape plants off walls, and sealing foundation gaps reduces conditions that attract pests to valley homes.

Choosing a one-time visit or plan

One-time service

A one-time service suits targeted issues that do not require ongoing regular visits or continuous perimeter defense.

  • Includes initial inspection and treatment for current active pests
  • Includes required follow-up visits for pests like bed bugs
  • Specialty pests like termites or rodents need their own service

  • Ants except carpenter ants
  • Cockroaches
  • Spiders including black widows
  • Crickets
  • Earwigs and silverfish
  • Centipedes and pill bugs
  • Wasp nests within reach
  • Scorpions are reduced, and full scorpion work is the Scorpion Plan

Preparing your home for service

Preparation requirements vary by pest and treatment type. Written instructions are provided before treatment day; separate detailed prep guides exist for bed bugs and fleas.

  1. Review written guide

Read the specific preparation and reentry instructions sent by our office prior to your scheduled appointment.

  2. Clear perimeter access

Move items away from foundation walls so the technician can inspect and treat exterior surfaces easily.

  3. Secure domestic pets

Keep pets out of treatment areas while products are being applied around the home.

  4. Follow reentry timing

Remain out of treated areas for the exact time period specified in your written service instructions.

  5. Maintain home recommendations

Fix plumbing leaks, store food in sealed containers, and trim vegetation away from exterior walls.

Our re-service policy for plan customers

Plan customers receive free re-service between scheduled visits if covered pests return. One-time services include necessary follow-up visits specified for that pest. Clients maintain access and address sanitation or moisture issues.

Questions about general pest service

How is service pricing determined for my home?

Pricing depends on property size, the pest species identified, infestation severity, and the treatment method chosen. Our technician inspects your home first and provides an exact price quote for your approval before starting any work.

Is an initial inspection always necessary?

Yes. An inspection allows our technician to identify the exact pest species, locate entry points, assess nesting areas, and determine contributing moisture or sanitation factors. This ensures we recommend the correct treatment plan for your home.

Is a single treatment visit enough to clear pests?

Many pests require follow-up visits or ongoing perimeter maintenance. Pests like bed bugs, rodents, or heavy cockroach infestations need multistep treatments, which our technician details after the inspection.

What steps are taken regarding children and pets?

All products are applied according to label instructions. You receive written preparation and reentry instructions before treatment day, and we plan service around children, pets, aquariums, and anyone sensitive.

What preparation and reentry steps are required?

Preparation depends on the targeted pest and may include clearing perimeter walls or vacuuming floors. Reentry timing varies by product, and exact written instructions arrive before service day.

Will I see pest activity right after treatment?

You may notice some activity for a short time after treatment as products disrupt nesting areas. Plan customers can request a free re-service if covered pests keep coming back.

Which pests require separate dedicated services?

Termites, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, rodents, mosquitoes, bees, and wildlife are not covered under general quarterly plans. These species require specialized inspection procedures, customized treatment protocols, and separate service agreements.
